Our founder has over 15 years in animal rescue, rehabilitation, fostering and fundraising. Save One was founded in 2019 due to the overwhelming need for a safe space for farm animals. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.

    The resident mud puppies love their muddy wallows. Did you know that pigs are actually really clean? They use the mud to coat themselves to protect them from sunburn and from overheating. They don't sweat. 

    I think it's because it's so much fun!!

    RANGER was in a home for the first 27 years of his life. When his owners were unable to take care of him they turned him into a local rescue.

      No, everyone who is placed at the farm is here for life. Many of our residents moved from multiple homes and locations. We give them all the love, support, medical care and enrichment they need so they can live out their days in peace.   

      YES! We have many mouths to feed and we feed them top quality hay and grain. They need regular de-worming and special diets. If you would like to donate feed or grain or treats please contact us. 

      Yes. We believe in the responsible curtailing of breeding and do not allow unaltered females to mix with any new male residents awaiting castration or gelding. Once the males have been altered we can safely have them coexist. All of the dogs and cats on the property are also fixed. Please SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS.
